Frances Love Bryson, 84, of Brevard, passed away on September 6, 2022. A native of Anniston, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Dallas and Flosssie Raxter Love. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Bobby” Raxter, and her sister Joyce Rhodes, and two great-grandchildren, Emma Grace Bryson and Bobby Haynes Bryson.
Mrs. Bryson retired from Ecusta with almost 30 years of service. However she played piano for her church, Cathey’s Creek Baptist Church for over 50 years, before playing several years at Cherryfield Baptist Church. She loved playing music, gardening and cooking as well as raising goats. But her greatest love was her family. She loved to play and dance with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her family surviving her includes her husband of almost 66 years, Richard “Dick” Bryson; their children: Jim (Cindy) Bryson and Ronnie (Sandy) Bryson; grandchildren: Kenny Bryson (Cori), Jeremy Bryson (Christy), Hope Stone, and Faith Bryson; great-grandchildren: Daniel, Joseph, Trista, Carter, Abby and Cash.
Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Cherryfield Baptist Church with inurnment to follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory in Pisgah Forest. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm, prior to the service.
