Dorothy Cockrum

Dorothy M. Cockrum, 90, of Brevard, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, February 4, 2023. A native of Buncombe County, she was preceded in death by her sister, Geri Burnett, daughter Jackie Morgan and grandson Karl Mitchell.

Always hard working and full of life, she always enjoyed traveling and her flea market business every weekend. But it was her family that brought her more joy and smiles than all her collectibles and knick-knacks.

Her loving survivors include her daughters Beverly, Debbie and Patricia and her son, Ronnie; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed by all.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory in Pisgah Forest.
