William Marvin "Bill" Gaddy, Jr.
William Marvin Gaddy, Jr., 79, of Asheville, formerly of Brevard, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023. A native of Transylvania County, NC, he was the son of the late William and Myrtle Norris Gaddy.
Bill worked for a number of years for Olin/ Ecusta before beginning his work as a private contractor in the field of computer programming which took him across the U.S. where he lived in several different
cities over the years before returning to the mountains of Western North Carolina.
His loving survivors include his children: David Gaddy, Brad Gaddy, Tanya Owenby and husband Rocky, and Shawn Gaddy; as well as a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be private.
