Wanda Fisher

Wanda Lou Fisher, 71, of Brevard, peacefully passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 after a lengthy illness.

A beautiful woman of faith and love, she was a blessing to all that knew her. She was a collector of both treasures and cats. She loved her friends, family and her flowers and pink was her signature color. 

Her loving survivors include her husband of 26 years, Larry Meade Fisher; her children: Crystal Hammons ( Jim), of Florida, April Newman (Cary) or Tennessee, Tina Bayne (Danny Mullins) of Lake Toxaway, Heather Barton (Dwayne) of Horse Shoe, and Margaret Fisher of Brevard; her sisters: Carla Wright and Anita Murray and her brother, Gary Fields; grandsons: Jared Hammons,   Gabriel Hammons and Sage Hammons, Kyle Newman and Garrett Newman, and Colin Barton;  granddaughters Shelby McMullen, Taylor Barton, Emma Barton and Nichole Bayne; great-grandchildren Penelope, Samuel and Finnick.

Funeral Services for Wanda Fisher will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 16, 2024, in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations in Brevard. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake Toxaway.
