Vernon T. Myers, Jr.

Brevard - Vernon T. Myers, Jr. went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 10, 2009 at his residence.
A native of Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late Vernon T. Myers, Sr. and Janie McClean Myers. Mr. Myers was a member of Glady Branch Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Graham-Myers of the home; daughters, Karen Custer of Virginia Beach, VA, and Dr. Dana Myers Sauerwein and husband Bjorn of Pocatello, ID; grandchildren, Alyson Custer, Stephen, Hilmar, and Lars Sauerwein.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 15, 2009 in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Ray Greene officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 581 S. Allen Rd., Flat Rock, NC 28731.
