Brevard - Shay Amber Yaste, 23, died Sunday, October 4, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Mayfield Heights, OH, she was the daughter of Keith Wheeler Yaste and Diane Marie Pethers Yaste of Brevard. She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Noble and Dorthia Yaste, maternal grandmother, Audrey Crossley and maternal grandfather, George Pethers.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her brother, Shaun Pethers of Houston, TX; nieces, Devi and Corey Pethers; several aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends.
The funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday in the Moore Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Lee Ray Greene officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
