Robert Joseph Williamson

Robert Joseph Williamson, 85, of Brevard, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Born in Tallapoosa, Georgia, he was the son of the late John Walker and Pearl Stogner Williamson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Dana Williamson.

A United States Air Force Veteran, he graduated from West Georgia College before going to work in the textile industry with American Thread, where he worked in management until retirement.

He truly enjoyed all things concerning plants and gardening, spending a great deal of time exercising his green thumb to grow his magnificent garden.  

His greatest love was his family. His memory is left to be treasured by his wife of 61 years, Marie Clackum Williamson; their daughter Karen Henson (Eric); grandchildren Nicole Henson, Zack Henson and Jake Henson; his brother Charles Williamson and sister Jane Chambers.
