Richard Tuttle

Richard Lowry Tuttle, 85, of Brevard, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of the late Gurney Lester Raymond Tuttle and the late Cora Mae Lowry Tuttle. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Opal Tuttle, his step-brother, Paul Lowry, his brother, Robert Dale Tuttle, and his step-sister Judy Asher.
Mr. Tuttle is survived by his wife Alice Joanne Huffman Tuttle; and their children Robert Michael Tuttle (Ethel) of Pisgah Forest, Tammie Leigh Stills (Paul) of Mills River and James Edward Tuttle (Kim Owenby) of Brevard; his brother, Michael Tuttle (Trudy) of Columbus, Indiana and step-sister Lucille Townsend of Hope, Indiana; grandchildren Robyn Davis, Perry Tuttle, Anthony Tuttle, Kayla Justice, Brandi Pettit, Shanna Bressie (Olivia), Stephanie Durant Ruffner (Robert), Tyler Stills (Kasey) and Christopher Tuttle (Tasha); and great-grandchildren Amber Jeffers (James), Breece Bentley, Alex Bentley, Michael Tuttle, Rebecca Tuttle, Zoey Tuttle and Araya Stills and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Tuttle was "Grandpa" to adults and children alike.
