Nancy L. Raffield

Nancy Raffield, 77 of Pisgah Forest, peacefully departed her earthly life May 2nd 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Robbie Allen Levi. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tania Torrence and son, Shane Raffield. 

Nancy, or “Nana” as she was known by her family was a resident of Pisgah Forest where she and her husband raised their 3 children. Nancy worked at Ecusta for 12 years before starting her own cleaning business that she operated for 35 years. 

Nancy loved the Lord and her family deeply and while her family feels the emptiness of her departure, they are so thankful she is in her Heavenly home. All those that knew and loved her will remember her as the devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother she always was. Proverbs 31 was the example for her life.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack Raffield of Pisgah Forest; son, Chris Raffield (Carla) of Landrum SC; grandchildren: Shana Raffield (Clarence Bentley) of Knoxville TN, Jeromy Raffield (Cassandra Passmore) of Pisgah Forest; Dakota Raffield (Charles McCall) of Penrose; Taylor Torrence (Clay Brock) of Asheville NC; Codie Raffield; Cyler Raffield; Casper Raffield; Canyon Raffield all of Landrum SC; great-grandson Owen Garrett and Wyatt Bentley of Knoxville TN; great-grandson Jeromiah Raffield of Pisgah Forest; great-granddaughter, Shalynn McCall of Penrose; her brothers Jesse Levi of Kentucky and Roger Levi (Susan) of Hendersonville; and her sisters, Sandi Levi of Hendersonville and Pat Holcombe of Hendersonville; 

Services for Nancy Raffield will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Blantyre Baptist Church on King Road in Pisgah Forest, with Rev. Ron Nelson officiating.
