Mildred Jaggard

Mildred Givens Jaggard, 83, of Brevard, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville. A native of Woodbury, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Maude Campen Givens. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Givens, Jr.

"The Fudge Lady" will fondly be remembered by many around Brevard for making and giving away over one hundred pounds of fudge each year during the holidays. She was also a member of "The Linus Project" where she made quilts and blankets for young children.

Mrs. Jaggard is survived by her husband, Robert F. Jaggard, and their son Craig Jaggard.

A private graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
