Mary Rhodes

Mary Ann Rhodes, 86, of Brevard, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. A native of Glendale, California, she was the daughter of the late Betty Bullard Miller. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Rhodes III.
She retired from Southern Bell after 41 years as a telecommunications engineer, having been one of the first female engineers to work for Southern Bell. She also loved researching genealogy.
A memorial service for Mary Ann Rhodes will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations in Brevard with Philip Lingle officiating.
