Coming from a large family, she was a sister, a cousin, an aunt, a great-aunt, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, and an all-around great person. She will be missed by all who knew her well.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, and by three of her six siblings: Hazel Brown Medlin, Robert B. Brown, and Patricia Brown Collins.
She is survived by her three children: Robert (and wife Kathleen), Janice (and husband Dennis), and Susan. In addition, she is survived by three of her siblings: Douglas Brown (and wife Perry), Shirley Brown Arnette, and Janice Brown Osborne (and husband Ted). Also surviving are her granddaughter, Lisa Cox Cross (and husband Michael), and three great-grandchildren: Marisa, Amber, and Carter Cross.
As she requested, the family will have a private graveside service.
