Mark Jackson

Mark Jackson was born November 25, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised in the nearby suburb of Elm Grove. He is predeceased by parents Earl Jackson and Ellen Graham Jackson of Sun City Center, Florida, and survived by spouse Barb Sweeney Jackson of Brevard NC (formerly of Marysville, OH). Also surviving are step son Jesse (Caitlin) Combs, step granddaughter Finley Combs of Fishers, IN, long-time best friend Dan Kane of Las Vegas, NV and several cousins.
Mark received a BS in Physics from Michigan Tech and a MS in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. During his career in regulation compliance he continued his education with an MBA and a Masters in Environmental Studies.
He retired in 2006 from Battelle Memorial Institute of Columbus, Ohio and moved to Western North Carolina where he enjoyed doing projects around the house and property, cutting wood, and spoiling his Yorkie-Poo dogs, Atlas and Zeus.
Interment arrangements will be private and Mark requested no memorial donations; but if so desired, you may give privately to any animal care charity.
