Margaret Langa

Margaret Alma Fish (Peggy) Langa, age 91, died of natural causes on February 22, 2019, in Brevard, NC.
Peggy was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of Allan and Alma (Nelson) Fish. She graduated from Colby Junior College in New London, NH, in 1947, and in 1950 married Paul S. Langa, her childhood sweetheart with whom she recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary. During their marriage they lived at various times in New Jersey, Wisconsin, and New Hampshire, before retiring to North Carolina in 1992.

Peggy was an avid golfer and bridge player, and for many years was an active member and volunteer at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Brevard. She was also a long-time member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, most recently with the Waightstill Avery Chapter.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: Dr. Victoria Langa of Cheswick, PA; Melissa Langa of Brookline MA, and her husband Jeff Wulfson; Steven Langa of Los Angeles CA, and his partner Stacy Pickren; and Dr. Jennifer Klaus of Brookline MA. She is also survived by grandchildren Kate Wulfson and her partner Mike Wang, Jim Wulfson, Rachael Langa, Tysen Klaus, and Riley Klaus, and by great-grandchildren Pallas and Mars Wang.

A memorial service will be held later this spring at St. Philip's Episcopal Church. A private interment service will be held at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
