Luanne Tingle

February 18, 1958 — May 19, 2017

Pisgah Forest, North Carolina

LuAnne "Lulu" Wilson Tingle, 59, of Pisgah Forest, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at her home.
A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Dee and Christine Wilson. Her sisters Alice Faye and Jeannie Wilson also preceded her in death as well as her beloved aunts Ethel Poole, Brenda Spillman, Phyliss Constantine, Delphine Donnelly and uncles Bill Galloway, Ivan Galloway and Clyde Galloway. She also looked forward to being reunited in Heaven with her good friend, Donna Griffin.
LuAnne's passions in life included playing the piano for Pisgah Forest Baptist Church and Grace Baptist Church as well as for friend's and family's events. She had a unique style of playing the piano that everyone loved to hear. She also loved children greatly and enjoyed leading the children's choir at Pisgah Forest Baptist Church.
For the last ten years of her life, LuAnne enjoyed spending her days babysitting in her home. Through her years doing this, she gave her heart to these children and to their parents, going above and beyond to love each and every one of them. She believed in every child's potential and value and loved them like they were her own.
LuAnne always found beauty everywhere, and loved to capture God's creation in photographs. She has hundreds of photographs of sunrises, sunsets, mountains, clouds, flowers and of course her immediate and extended family, whom she loved greatly.
Of greatest value to her was her daughter, Jillian. LuAnne was always involved in Jillian's school and dance activities and was seen as a mother to many of Jillian's school and dance friends.
LuAnne is survived by her husband Tony Tingle, of Pisgah Forest, daughter, Jillian Adcock, son-in-law, Joshua Adcock and her very special granddaughter Erin Adcock, of Asheville, brothers Jim Wilson and wife Sandy Wilson, of Brevard, and Bill Wilson and wife Carolyn Wilson of Danville, Illinois as well as a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
A Memorial Service for LuAnne will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Pisgah Forest Baptist Church with Rev. David Spray and Rev. Nathan Joudry officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to her daughter, Jillian Adcock, who is in the process of creating a memorial fund, "Lulu's Memorial Fund" to continue LuAnne's legacy of generosity to those in need.
