Keyla Mejia-Perez

Keyla Mejia-Perez, 12, of Pisgah Forest, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Born in Fletcher, NC, she was the daughter of Otoniel Mejia-Cinto and Marilia Sonia Perez-Mendez. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her sister, Jacqueline, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She also enjoyed running and could run very fast. Keyla loved music and loved to dance and enjoyed watching Ponytail on YouTube.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at One Church, on Rosman Highway in Brevard, NC with Rev. Antonio Rivera officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am-1200 noon at the church, prior to the service. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory in Pisgah Forest.
