Joseph Mccall

Joseph Clifton McCall, 84, of Balsam Grove, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC. A native of Transylvania county, he was the son of the late William Jason and Rosetta Owen McCall. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Kenneth McCall.

A US Army Veteran, Mr. McCall retired after a career with the Department of Transportation. He found his greatest joy, however, in his home and his family. He also loved gardening and being surrounded by nature.

His loving survivors include his wife of 61 years, Linda Ann McCall; daughters Arlene (John) McCall of Balsam Grove and Teresa Goins of Balsam Grove; grandchildren Joshua Goins (Kasi) of Balsam Grove, Caleb Goins (Jamie) of Michigan, Canaan Goins of Brevard, Lacey (Jesse) Morgan of Brevard, Yanah Leah McCall (Brad) of Brevard, Corey McCall (Jennifer) of Brevard, Stephanie Bell (Justin) of Brevard and Clint McCall of Balsam Grove; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Jason McCall Cemetery on Jason McCall Cemetery Road in Balsam Grove.
