Jerry Joseph Siemann

Jerry Joseph Siemann, 82, of Brevard, NC passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on March 7, 2024.  Jerry was born December 25, 1941, in Lancaster, WI. to the late Joseph Theodore Siemann and Vera Elizabeth Bennett. He was also preceded in death by his sister Judith Ann Strye.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marilyn Siemann, one daughter; Susie Siemann Waters, Manassas, VA, two sons; Charles Joseph Siemann (Rebecca) of Ohio, and Joseph Michael Siemann of Creve Coeur, Ill., two grandsons, Joseph Charles Siemann and Ronny Siemann.

He and Marilyn moved their family to Brevard in 2001.  Jerry was in commercial construction for over 40 years. He came to this area to be the Construction Superintendent of the new emergency room and surgery rooms at Transylvania Regional Hospital.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Jack Driscoll Council 8886 and Blue Ridge Assembly 2130. Woodworking was one of his passions and filled his home with many beautiful hand-crafted wooden creations. Jerry served in the US Army.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Shawn O’Neal officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service.  Military Rites will be conducted by the NC National Guard and the Transylvania County Honor Guard.
