Jerry Ellis

Jerry Eugene Ellis, 67, of Pisgah Forest, passed away on December 24, 2016. A native of Transylvania County, NC, he was the son of the late Thomas Henry and Blanche Bradford Ellis. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Harold Ellis.
After graduating from Brevard High School Jerry remained faithful to the school as a member of the Brevard Alumni Association and attending many Brevard high School sporting events. Jerry also loved to fish.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sandra Ellis; son Stephen Warren, Jr. and wife Vicki of Rosman, daughter Karen Putnam of Brevard, grandson Stephen Warren, III of Rosman and granddaughter Haley Putnam of Brevard; his uncle Wayne Ellis, who was especially close to him as was his dear friend Mike Baynard of Brevard, and several other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Jerry Ellis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations with Rev. Dan Dellinger officiating.
