Jacqueline Owens

Jacqueline Ryan Lewis Owens, 88, of Brevard, passed away on August 3, 2019. Born in St. Louis, Missouri she was raised in Arlington Heights, Illinois by her parents, the late Roswell Morris and Anna Mae Briscoe Ryan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Lewis (1989) and James Ogden Owens (2015) as well as her sisters Patricia McEnaney and Barbara Sacharski.

A resident of Transylvania County for 23 years, she was an accomplished seamstress and loved music and playing bocce ball.

Her loving survivors include her children, Patti Lutz of Crystal Lake, IL.; Bob Lewis and wife Mibby of Louisville, CO., Jim Lewis and wife Rita of McKinney, TX., step-daughters Chris Quay and husband Sam of Royersford, PA., Ginny Hilton and husband John of Darien, CT., Sue LeClair and husband Mark of Fairfax, VT., Katie Owens of Burlington, VT., step-son Greg Owens and wife Laurie of Penfield, NY., 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of the Resurrection will be at Resurrection Catholic Church in Woodstock, Illinois with interment in Windridge Memorial Park in Cary Illinois at a later date.
