Irene Boynton

Irene Theresa Boynton departed this earth on Friday, December 21, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Boynton lived a quiet life of service to others through her presence at St. Philip's Episcopal Church and in personal outreach to those she knew were in need of a kind word or material help. Irene was quick to offer comfort, companionship, and encouragement to those who needed it.

Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Gordon Boynton Jr. and her son, Jared Boynton were there to welcome her home. Her son, Gordon Boynton lll, her daughters, Janet Poe, Barbara Fowler, Lisa Ferrara, and Sharon Cullen; her adopted daughter and long time caregiver, Mary Connelly, and grand-daughter and caregiver, Joy Poe Warren remain to celebrate Irene's life. Also celebrating Irene's life is her children's respective spouses and her many grand and great-grand children.

Her life celebration and interment will be privately held at St. Paul in the Valley.
