Ireland Mccall

Ireland Ray McCall, 68, of Asheville, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the Charles George V.A. Medical Center. A native of Lake Toxaway, he was the son of Jewell O. McCall and the late Ray V. McCall. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister Marcell McCall.
A graduate of Rosman High School and A-B Tech in Asheville, he was a United States Army Veteran, and received the National Defense Service Medal as well as the Sharp Shooter M16 Award.
Mr. McCall's survivors include his mother, Jewell O. McCall; his sisters Dwyn McCall, Rita McCall, Sandra Morris (Wiley) and brothers Kelon McCall (Nancy) and David McCall; nieces and nephews Audra, Ryan, Nathan, Rayetta, Jessica and Matthew.
A Memorial Service for Ireland McCall will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations in Brevard with Rev. Paul Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mission-Rathbun House, 121 Sherwood Road, Asheville, NC 28803.
