Helena Mccall

Helena P. McCall, of Pisgah Forest, NC went to her heavenly home Saturday, December 30, 2017. A native of Pikeville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Boone and Gladys Deskins.

She worked as an Assembler for the Chrysler Motor Company in Detroit, MI for many years. She loved horses since she was a young child and later loved to garden and take care of weeds. She had a strong work ethic that went with her from home to work.

She is survived by her husband William Cleon McCall, one daughter; Shirley Beasley of Brevard, NC, two step-daughters; Pamela Sue Thrower and husband Travis of Decatur, AL, and Delana "Lana" Shook of Decatur, AL; two grandchildren: Bryce James Beasley and wife Becky, Dena Marie Malinguaggio and husband Nicholas, , three great grandchildren: and Bethany Christine Malinguaggio, Nathan James Malinguaggio and Vada Sue Malinguaggio.

Funeral Services for Helena McCall will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations with Rev. Buster McCall officiating. Interment will be at Mack McCall Cemetery in Lake Toxaway, NC. Visitation will be at 10:00 - 11:00 A.M., prior to the service.
