Harlin Shipman

Harlin Glen Shipman, 73, of Brevard, NC died Friday, February 25, 2022 at Four Seasons Elizabeth House, Flat Rock, NC after a period of declining health.

A native of Brevard, he was a son of the late Glen and Ethel Waters Shipman.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Shipman.

Harlin was a 1968 graduate from Rosman High School. He did paint and bodywork on automobiles and loved nature and being outdoors.

He is survived by one son, Harlin David “Harley” Shipman, of Brevard, NC, one step-son, Keith Morgan of Brevard, NC, three grandchildren, Trevor, Savannah, and Hunter Shipman, four great  grandchildren, three sisters, Mavis (Mike) Owen, of Brevard, NC, Martha, (Berlis) Owen, of Rosman, NC and Cathy McCall (Jerry) of Asheville, NC, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews,  and Martha Turner, a special lady in his life and her children.

No services are planned at this time.  Family will celebrate his life at a later date.
