Geoffrey Hoxit

Geoffrey Chandon Hoxit, 44, of Pisgah Forest, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of Louise L. Hoxit and the late Clifton Coy Hoxit. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his sister. Kimberly Louise Hoxit and his brother Mitchell Van Allen Hoxit.

Geoff loved to fish, hunt and camp, work in the outdoors, and was a great mechanic; but his great love was his family.

Geoff is survived and remembered by his mother, Louise Hoxit; his brother Clifton Coy Hoxit, Jr and wife Tammy of Hendersonville; his son, Michael Chandon; his (almost) brothers “Conrad”, Isaac Riddle and Eric Palmer; a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and friends.

Family and friends will gather to remember Geoffrey Hoxit at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 12, 2021 in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations. Interment will follow at Hoxit Family Cemetery in Canada, NC. The family will receive friends from Noon until 1:00 PM.
