Donna-Lee Clague Hamric

Donna-Lee Francis Hamric, 75, of Etowah, passed away on September 6, 2023. Born in Los Angeles, CA, she lived most of her life in Pinellas County, Florida. She moved to Etowah N.C. where she lived out the rest of her life. She was the daughter of the late Donald F. and Dolores Ehret Clague. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Dale Stewart Clague, and her husband of 21 years, Robert M. Hamric Sr.

 She also was a Member of Etowah Methodist Church and Love her church family dearly.  A best friend and a good listener to her children and her friends, she worked three jobs at times to take care of her kids. She is loved by all those she met.

Her loving survivors include her children: James Hamric and Shawn Hamric and her 3 step-children: Robert Hamric, Jr., Katherine Lawless and Allison Littleton; her two granddaughters, 6 step-grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; her brother, Dan Clague; and also several nieces and nephews, including Cody Clague, who was more like a son.

 A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Etowah United Methodist Church in Etowah, NC.  The family would ask in lieu of flowers since she loved working with the church food pantry that a donation to Etowah Methodist food pantry or to your local food bank be made.

The family would like to say “Thank You” for all of the prayers and support they have received during their time of need.
