Donna Breedlove-Mathis

Donna Breedlove-Mathis, 64, of Brevard, passed away on February 7, 2023. A Transylvania County native, she was the daughter of the late David Eugene and Ann Nix Jones. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Clint Breedlove, and son Jason Breedlove.

After working for Ecusta until the time of its closing, she began work in home-health care.  She loved going on cruises with her friends and family.  Her greatest joy came from her husband, Anthony Mathis, her children and her grandchildren!

Her loving survivors include her husband, Anthony Mathis; children Jonathon Breedlove, LeShea Breedlove Hughes, grandchildren Andrew, Caleb, MaKayla, Cody and MaKynna; her sister Gina Breedlove and husband Craig; niece Christy Dills and nephew Jerry Hurt.

Funeral services for Donna Breedlove-Mathis will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023  at Brevard Church of God. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory in Pisgah Forest.
