Donald Hogsed

Donald Fred Hogsed, 66, of Dunn's Rock Community, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2019. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Fred Playto Hogsed and Zelma Willingham Hogsed.

He was a life-long member of Dunn's Rock Baptist Church. Donny had a real zest for life, he loved all music genres, played guitar and was an avid Harley rider. He worked at DuPont for 30 years where he made many friends. He never missed an opportunity to make you smile with his jokes and he never met a stranger.

Donny is survived by his son William Cain (Mary) Hogsed of Nashville, TN and his daughter Heather Camille Hogsed, of Asheville. Also surviving is his mother, Zelma Hogsed, brother David Bryan Hogsed, sisters Cathy Harris and Cindy Hogsed Kiser.

A Celebration of Donny's life will be held at a later date.
