David Hogsed

David Ralph Hogsed, Sr., 78, of Pisgah Forest, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 31, 2016. Born in Andrews, NC, he was the son of the late Ralph Pitt and Hazel Kilpatrick Hogsed.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jerri Hogsed; their children David R. Hogsed, Jr. and wife Pam of Pisgah Forest, Lynn Austin and husband Doug of Horseshoe, NC and Karen Rose and husband Walt of Cornelius, NC; his brother Robert Hogsed and wife Brenda of Sylva, NC, and sister Jan Jones of Andrews; grandchildren Keenan Hogsed, Allie Hogsed, Matthew Hogsed, Tyler Austin, Savanna Austin, Connor Rose and Cayden Rose.
A Memorial Service for Mr. David Hogsed will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Pisgah Forest Baptist Church with Rev. David Spray officiating. The family will receive friends on the church fellowship hall immediately following the service. Interment will be private.
