Charlotte Davidson

Charlotte Davidson, 94, of Brevard, passed away on June 7, 2018. Born in Edmonton, Canada, Charlotte immigrated to Port Huron, Michigan during the sixties, to head the Nursing Program at St. Clair County Community College, before retiring to Brevard, North Carolina in 1983. Charlotte had a wanderlust for being on the road and has travelled the world enjoying the sights and cultures that she encountered along the way. She would often jump in her car and drive for miles along backroads and byways to see the country she had adopted. Charlotte was also a keen bridge player and gardener. Her garden at Waterford Place, was admired throughout the neighborhood.

She was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Irene, and brother David, as well as her longtime friend and companion, Isabel McLaren. She is survived by; her nephew Kim, great nieces Heather and Erin, and great great niece Carly; her niece Anne, and great nephews Tyler and Scott. Charlotte was a devoted Aunt who travelled routinely to visit the family in Canada when milestone, births, weddings, and anniversaries were in play. She is also survived by cousins in scattered states across the USA, and close friends from her years of living in North Carolina.

The family would like to thank and acknowledge the wonderful care and attention that she has had from her longtime neighbor and friend Barbara Fitzpatrick, whose efforts, care and devotion, enabled Charlotte to remain in her own home until her recent passing in hospital. For Barbara and others, who have helped her thru the years, we are eternally grateful.
