Carroll Hubbard

Carroll Michael Hubbard, 84, of Brevard passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Walter A. and Rubye McGilvary Hubbard. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 51 years, Bobbie Carolyn Hubbard and his brothers Cameron Hubbard and Joe Hubbard.

Carroll was a simple man who loved God and lived by His Word. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. They meant the world to him and made him very proud.

Carroll was a loyal friend and will be missed by many.

Survivors include his sons Mike Hubbard and wife Christine of Greer, SC, and Rodney and Andrea Hubbard of Woodruff, SC; daughter Kim Strickland and husband John of Brevard; grandchildren Layne Hubbard (Carrie), Mayce Hubbard Inman (Will) Chelsea Hubbard-Riddle (Wyatt), Harley Hubbard and Alex Strickland of Brevard, NC; and great-grandchildren Makinley Hubbard, Cameron Hubbard, Thorrin Hubbard and Stribling Inman and a very special cousin who was more like a brother to him, Channing Hubbbard.

Services for Carroll Hubbard will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at East Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Crocker officiating.  Interment will follow at Big Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hubbard will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
