Blake Weston Ivers

Blake Weston Ivers, 14, of Brevard, passed away on January 17, 2024. A native of Brevard, he was the son of Liz Ivers and Robert “Bobby” DeBiase. He was preceded in death by his second dad, Stuart Ashburn.

Blake was a quiet “old soul” who always thought more about the cares of others than himself. He was a kind and loyal friend.

He enjoyed putting together Lego sets and playing video games. He especially liked Sponge Bob. An Honor Roll student, he enjoyed history and French among many other subjects. He was also a collector of things, never satisfied until every piece was where it should be.

His loving survivors include his mother, Liz Ivers; his father, Robert DeBiase; his brother, Austin Ashburn grandparents: Brenda “B.B.” Ivers, Linda Ashburn, Don and Nancy DeBiase, and Scott Ivers; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will hold a private graveside service and there will be a celebration of life for family and friends.
