Benjamin Flynn Smith, 32, of Brevard North Carolina, passed away on August 13, 2016 in Indianapolis Indiana. Benjamin was born in Anderson South Carolina on October 7, 1983 to Rebecca Randolph Worley and Ralph Edwin Smith Jr. Benjamin is preceded in death by grandparents, Lillian Randolph, Samuel Randolph, Ralph Edwin Smith Sr. and Mary Worley.

He was a 2002 graduate of Brevard High School and was currently employed as a truck driver for Ozark Trucking Company. Benjamin was a loved son and brother who will be dearly missed by all those he touched through his short life. He was a Brevard native who recently spent a lot of time on the road transporting the country's needs across the open road. So the next time you see a trucker on the road send your prayers for their families. It is because of their sacrifice, we as Americans, have what we have each and every day.

Benjamin is Survived by parents, Ralph Edwin Smith Jr., Rebecca Worley, Michael Worley, brothers Patrick Smith (Cynthia) and Christopher Worley (Jennifer), sister Summer McNeely (Jerry), nieces and nephews, Maxwell Worley, Samuel McNeely, Austin Smith, Addison Smith along with many more family and friends.

A memorial and a celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on August 19, 2016 at the Forge Valley Event Center, 8818 Boylston Highway, Mills River, NC. A private burial service will be held at the Mack McCall Cemetery.

A memorial account will be set at United Community Bank to provide future truckers with the same opportunities Benjamin struggled so hard to achieve.
